I NEED TO RECOVER MY SERIAL KEY FOR ACROBAT XI PRO

I am in the process of replacing an old PC that died. It was used to manage a fancy high-end Xerox printer. To vị so, it runs a program called FreeFlow Makeready. One of the requirements for Makeready is an installation of either Acrobat X or XI. It will not work with Acrobat DC

The old box was originally leased from Xerox bachồng when they actually did that. At some point, they stopped leasing PCs and basically gave sầu the box khổng lồ us. However, the install of Acrobat on it was a volume license, & it was not licensed to us.

I have my new box up & running. Unfortunately Adobe only sells licenses for Acrobat DC now. My vendor told me I could in fact downgrade with a DC license. I purchased a new license, but cannot seem lớn figure out how khổng lồ get Acrobat XI running. The install I downloaded from the site does not recognize my new license as valid.

Note that the license I purchased is not a Creative sầu Cloud subscription.

Any assistance would be greatly appreciated.

Speaking to lớn Adobe did not help me. They only said that rolling baông xã khổng lồ XI could only be done with a subscription license. However, the vendor (CDW) was able lớn reach out to Adobe và have them generate a XI key from the existing DC key. Not sure why this method isn"t available directly to customers, but it did resolve my issue.

if you still have sầu the hdd from the old PC và if the hdd functions then you might be able to lớn use sản phẩm key/serial key finder software to lớn get the hàng hóa key of adobe acrobat & use it to lớn install it on another PC. maybe use ProduKey or another one of the handy key finder utilities on Hiren"s Boot CD.

I did try that, although not one of the specific tools you mentioned. I did pull a key, but it wasn"t valid to activate the install on the new box. I suspect this might be due to lớn the fact it was a volume license & not an individual one.

you may need to lớn tương tác Adobe support and let them know that you had it on a PC & the PC died and that you want lớn install the same version of another PC. give them the key you found & see what they can vì chưng. it is worth a shot versus paying $ for another license.

He doesn"t own that license, though.I agree with calling them. Tell them your software won"t work with DC and you would like a key khổng lồ activate the old version. As Denis pointed out they are saying they don"t allow for that, but until you call & ask you never know. They may take pity on you.
